Polyvinyl Alcohol
Polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH, PVA, or PVAl) is a water-soluble synthetic polymer. It has the idealized formula [CH2CH(OH)]n. It is used in papermaking, textile warp sizing, as a thickener and emulsion stabilizer in PVAc adhesive formulations and a variety of coatings. It is colorless (white) and odorless. It is commonly supplied as beads or as solutions in water.

Keep in suitable closed containers for disposal. Wear protective eyeware, gloves and clothing. Always obey local regulations. Dust deposits should not be allowed to accumulate on surfaces, as these may form na explosive mixture if they are released into the atmosphere in suficiente concentration. Avoid dispersal of dust in the air.
